Partner Relations Manager

WiST is a non-profit with the mission to drive growth opportunities for women in the sports tech industry from the classroom to the boardroom, offering a variety of programs and content that change the ratio and positively impact business cultures.

We seek to hire a Partner Relations Manager to begin mid to late February 2022. If you’re excited about the opportunity to work in the exploding sports tech industry for an organization doing work you’re passionate about and have experience in account management and/or customer support (or service), preferably in the sports tech industry, this role with WiST is a great place to grow your career, as you will work with all the best corporate partners and startups in our business.

High Level: This important role will help to ensure that WiST meets every commitment we have made to the corporate partners who donate to WiST. This person will share our maniacal focus on stakeholder experience and engagement across the WiST ecosystem and bring a positive attitude, growth mindset and strong work ethic to the team. This person enjoys meeting new people and building relationships and will represent WiST professionally and thoughtfully in every interaction with partners and donors.

Overall: Highly organized, responsive, tech savvy, able to manage multiple work streams, able to work independently

Tools: Slack, Asana, Hubspot, Google Drive, all virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, Teams, etc

Location: 100% Remote. Flexibility in working across all U.S time zones.

Time Commitment: Full-time

Responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with corporate partners, donors and and all WiST stakeholders
  • Becoming familiar with all WiST programs and understand the synergies between WiST partners, programs and content
  • Integrating partners of all levels, where relevant, into WiST programs and content
  • Tracking all partner interactions, communications and milestones using Hubspot consistently
  • Being responsive to address and resolve partner issues
  • Notifying WiST leadership of any new and promising partnership opportunities

Qualifications include:

  • Intuitive and respectful in all ways, especially of partners’ WiST objectives, benefits and timelines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • A background in account management, customer service or sales is a plus, 2-4 years experience preferably
  • A passion for and background in sports as either an athlete or huge sports fan
  • Must understand and embrace customer relationship management (CRM)
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze and solve problems quickly
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Attentive to detail and organized
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible and able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize incoming requests with existing tasks, with agility, calm and focus
  • Currently vaccinated and boosted against COVID 19.
